 Neo-: a prefix signaling a "New" form or a revival of an old one.
Menlo: short for Menlo Park Laboratory, which was Thomas Edison's "Invention Factory". This is where Edison and his band of workers would work together to create an idea that he or one of his workers had developed.
In short, Neo Menlo is a community in which its own members submit an ideas and they are thought through, planned, and discussed by the rest of the community. Most importantly, the invention is still the creator's property. the assistance by the community is repaid by assisting the community. Everyone wins.
